Hilton Parish Council

Hilton Parish Council is a group of men and women of all ages, backgrounds and experiences who have been elected to serve the Parish of Hilton. The council have a responsibility for setting an annual precept (part of your local taxes) and ensuring that it is spent to better the community. This ranges from the provision and emptying of dog litter bins to the coordination of over £1 million of government money for the development of community areas within the village, including playing fields, wildlife areas and car parks.

The Parish council is also a voice to the District Council, and other Local Government bodies, on behalf of Hilton Parishioners.

Parish Council Meetings

Hilton Parish Council meetings normally take place on the last Wednesday of every month in the Hilton Village Hall, at 7.00pm. The meetings are open to the public, with time set aside for public participation, so please attend meetings if you have something to say. Planning applications are available for viewing before meetings.
